Nicoletti era director del diario La Capital cuando en la madrugada del 24 de marzo de 1976 fue secuestrado en plena redacci\u00f3n. Sufri\u00f3 torturas y qued\u00f3 alojado en la Unidad Penal 4. Posteriormente fue trasladado en julio a la c\u00e1rcel de m\u00e1xima seguridad de Rawson hasta noviembre de ese a\u00f1o. Posteriormente la dictadura lo oblig\u00f3 al exilio interno en la localidad de Tel\u00e9n.<\/p>\n
Fue Parlamentario del Mercosur por La Pampa entre 2015 y 2023, brind\u00f3 testimonio vivo de forma permanente en cada acto que record\u00f3 el comienzo de la \u00faltima dictadura militar.
